A great many oddball pop and ambient pieces are to be found within the grooves of this vinyl. The Place I’ve Been Missing is a well crafted album with ethereal synths, vocals that can be uplifting or alternatively sorrowful and an array of beat patterns that somehow form a cohesive whole. There are tunes on here that could affect even the most staid selector.
